About TRAMP BOAT
One of the most successful one-design keelers in New Zealand has been the Farr 1020. Designed by Bruce Farr and his team in 1981 and built by Sea Nymph Boats.
The Farr 1020 is a recognized National Keelboat class in New Zealand.
TRAMP BOAT is an impressive club racer/cruiser that comes well maintained and fully equipped for round the buoys as well as YRA Bay racing.
The Farr 1020 is a highly regarded 10.2-meter (33.5 ft) New Zealand-designed cruiser-racer, known for its strong one-design racing class, excellent all-round performance, and comfortable interior. Designed by Bruce Farr in the early 1980s, it is praised for being stiff, fast, and easy to handle, often featuring a well-equipped galley and accommodation for up to 6 people, making it versatile for both competitive racing and family cruising.
